Styling it Pretty

Every once in awhile an image comes along and quite simply makes me gasp. This is one of those times.

I stumbled across this during my evening perusal of my favourite blogs & saw this on Style Me Pretty. I’m really liking their new look over there – clean & functional while retaining their highest standard of quality images + layout.

This is a lovely little Try-it-Yourself tutorial for making simple little soy candles in beautiful vessels… french yogurt jars are used here, but really, you could personalize it for your wedding quite easily with jars that fit you.

Try scouring the local flea markets + antique shops or ask around at your local farmers’ market.

They would make wonderful place-setting accents or centrepieces or even favours. Dress them up yourself with some flowers, linen thread or ribbon, add a tag + some matches and you’re off to the races!

But, what really caught my eye and now, probably lost hours simply looking at her older posts, was who the photographer was.

Firstly, White Loft Studio is such a lovely name and when I clicked on her credit link, it brought me to her site.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Isn’t it simply gorgeous? Don’t you want her to photograph something for you… anything?

I hope she won’t mind that I’ve included a screenshot of her site, but just look at it! I love the blue script font that she’s used to let us know that she’s “spring-cleaning” but in the meantime she invites you to visit her blog.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Seriously. Go have a look. It’s simply a feast for the eyes filled with stunning photography.

And she has a great little graphic disclaimer about copyright, sharing, caring + sexiness.

TGIF + I skip into the weekend to try this great tutorial, with the sun shining bright & Spring coming soon!

Geri xx
